The ESA Phi-Lab UK provides the funding and support to enable the commercialisation of innovative technologies that promote environmental sustainability, space sustainability and space resilience. Access support from world-leading technical and scientific expertise to business coaching and commercialisation.
Apply
To apply for the ESA Phi-Lab UK, your proposed research project must demonstrate the potential to deliver disruptive innovation and high commercial impact within one of the following pillars: environmental sustainability, space sustainability, or space resilience.
The second application round is now open. The submission deadline is 15 May 2026.
